Trailer blazing

Creating a book trailer is a great way to pique interest in books and here you'll find all the tools you need to make one for our Myths and Legends story.

If the children in your class groan at the prospect of having to write another book review or if you’re looking for new ways to inspire disengaged readers, then creating book trailers could well be your answer. This activity uses all the thought processes and more that go into writing a standard book review, and the creativity involved will also get children writing without realising it. Both reluctant and keen readers are going to love this activity and, with the prospect of doing more, the more they read, it could be a great way to spread the love of reading around school.
