Green alien profile pic

Use this resource with the A wacky way to teach lesson from our Space topic.

Marcus met a new friend on the moon. This profile picture can be used when setting up a Twitter account for an alien that you might invite into your class.

Use alongside ‘A wacky way to teach’ from the Space topic.

Remember that this is just a starting point for a whole new way of learning. Don’t abandon Twitter at the end of your Space topic. Instead, think about how this idea could be used in other topics. For example, why not invite ‘Henry VIII’ into the classroom? Or in geography, let ‘Barnaby Bear’ tweet from the four corners of the globe. And of course, your contacts don’t have to be fictional characters, there are plenty of real people - scientists, writers, designers, artists, historians, archaeologists and more - who children can learn from on Twitter.
